The City is considering a text amendment to the St. John’s Development Regulations to add Office as a Discretionary Use in the Industrial General (IG) Zone, prompted by an application for an Office at 135 Harbour Drive.   

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®) to promote this year’s FPW campaign, “Charge into Fire Safety^TM: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home.

The City has received an application to rezone land at 670 Kenmount Road from the Residential 2 (R2) Zone to the Residential Reduced Lot (RRL) Zone.

To facilitate construction for the Shared-Use Path, the trail connecting Airport Heights to Penney Crescent will be closed from Portugal Cove Road to the Trans-Canada Highway starting Thursday, October 2. 

The Election has been moved from October 2 to October 8 to provide additional time to secure additional resources for in-person voting and launch an online portal for residents to check if the City received their mailed-in ballots.

There will be a temporary lane reduction for the west bound lane of Brookfield Road near Civic 217 and the Pearltown Road intersection from 7 a.m. Wednesday, October 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 3.
