The City of St. John’s is launching a new educational resource toolkit and a series of information sessions to help seniors and older adults recognize, prevent and report financial fraud and scams.

The City has received an application from Campbell Development Limited to rezone 45-53 Blackmarsh Road.

A Discretionary Use application has been submitted by Despacito for 34 Campbell Avenue.

The City has received an application for a Cidery at 70 Power's Road. 

Motorists are advised that some traffic lights may be experiencing snow coverage on signal lenses, which can reduce visibility at intersections.

City crews are working to identify and clear affected signals as quickly as possible.

The weather-related parking ban will end at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026. The overnight winter parking ban remains in effect.

Please be advised that repairs on the compression system will be completed today and the Paul Reynolds Community Centre will reopen on Wednesday, February 4 for regular programming.
